Hey Andrew. I think I met you at the Calvin College Festival of Faith and Music in April 2005. Did anything from that make it into your book (or influence it)? I ordered the book and have been checking out your blog. I look forward to reading it. If you want to respond leave a comment or my email is ward.matt.r@gmail.com
So, I was reading your book....and I was surprised to find that I'm in it (the guy baptized at Mars Hill). Thanks for mentioning me. It was cool to read about it. You have a great view on the world of Christian Rock! My email is arjacobson@gmail.com if you'd like to email.
i just wanted to thank you for the book. it's interesting that you somehow find the balance between straight reporting - i saw this, then he said that - and self-absorbed commentary - that was crap, twila paris is hot. again, thank you for such a good read.
i just finished reading your book. my roommate had picked up the book and i was curious so i picked it up and 3 hours later i realized that it was 4 in the morning and i should stop reading. i bought my own copy and finished the book in another day because it was so captivating. thank you so much for this book it was funny and interesting and i loved it. i have told all my friends which isnt a lot to go out and get this book as soon as they can.
Hey Andrew. Nice work on BPSML. I couldn't put it down and found it fascinating to read the subject explored by someone outside the 'cloister' of CCM. Good word, 'cloister.' Anyway, I was wondering if you have any evidence yet -- even anecdotal -- that regular people (meaning non-Christians) are buying the book? Still humming 'Awesome God'? aj_journalism@yahoo.com
