Couldn't figure out how to email you...sorry for leaving a comment that has nothing to do with the subject. It's been years and i'm still searching for an Aurora Paralysis song called "Borrow My Body" that was on a split single with you guys. You popped up on google. Can you put it up on the site or email it to rramosrob@gmail.com.
...y'know, the thing about the "borrow" single is the vocal is buried in the mix. i have a cassette that has the vocal up.front / as well as another song from the same sessions ("porpoise") that was never released. again, this is cassette material and, so far, no one has shown any interest in it. i have it on a 90 minute tape along with the original (i.e., pre.band) productions known informally as "the blue tape" (lovely) and "the pink tape" (not as strong, so some songs are left off). not "high fidelity," mind you, but - in my view - a key early 90's document. information on some of these recordings is available at Mousey Girl Records.
i've been feeding all my 90's indie to my 15 yr old niece and she's eating it all up. Everything from Archers of Loaf to Ultracindys to Small Factory... Anyways, anyone have the lyrics to 'Borrow My Body'?
...unlike a lot of people these days, i'm simply not set up to make those kind of mp3 conversions. i can, however, mail out a cassette copy to Interested Parties (and if you are so interested, my personal e.mail is "clearspot" at "soon" dot com). it's not a problem. like i said, the fidelity leaves something to be desired, but maybe someone will clean it up someday with Digital Technology. and once you hear the "borrow" mix with the vocal up.front, you should have no problem with the lyrics (although, offhand, i can't recall if it's "wretched thoughts in your crown" or wretched thorns...).
